This institution was established in year 2009-10 under the "Department of Technical Education", Madhya Pradesh. College is located approx 2 km from Anuppur Junction Railway station on the bank of Chndaas River and 68.7 km away from Amarkantank which is a rich natural heritage and is the meeting point of the Vindhya and the Satpura Ranges, with the Maikal Hills being the fulcrum.
This is one of the 21 newly established Polytechnic Colleges in MP. Institute is affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal and offers 3-year Diploma Programme. College is currently running two courses Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunication. It aims at giving quality technical education and increasing employability of the students.
Students are admitted through Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT) entrance exam conducted by MPPEB followed by online off-campus counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.
